• Is there a fee?
  No. This is a free service. At no time do we request any credit card information. We make our money from home owners who purchase a premium membership to get a priority listing (i.e., at the top of the page) of their property.
  


• What is RDFO?
  RDFO is a search engine which has a massive database of rental properties owned by individuals. RDFO uses a proprietary web crawling technology to build this database. RDFO is NOT a web hosting site like the plethora of other vacation property sites out on the Internet.

• Why is RDFO better than some of the other vacation sites I have found?
  Their database only has their property listings. Since we don't host web pages, our database has listings from the entire web! You don't need to search out the other vacation sites, we have done that for you already. Of course, if you have lots of time on your hands, you are more than welcome to go and find the other sites and search for properties within that site. We do not guarantee that we have 100% of the listings out there. That would be impossible, but our database is very large and continuously growing. In addition, our interface is extremely user friendly. All you enter is the state and the name of the destination city or resort and minimum number of bedrooms you need. Once you hit submit, our search engine will find the properties which match your request along with the calendar (assuming the owner has provided it to us) showing the availability. You immediately get a short description and can see if the property is available. You are also provided a link which will take you to a web page describing the property in much more detail. We currently have a patent pending in the US Patent & Trademark Office regarding how we display the results. All of this for no fee to you.
• Why should I rent directly from an owner and not from the resort?
  Bottom line is that you will probably save hundreds of dollars by cutting out the management company.
• Do you also have non US properties listed?
  At this time, we are concentrating only on the US market. Adding international support will make the User Experience more complicated so we have decided to only support the US at this time.
